This privacy policy describes how LifeAfterYou operates the iOS product and service, LifeAfter.You (“app”) and any page from the website URL, https://www.lifeafteryou.online/. LifeAfter.You provides you the ability to leave messages behind to your loved ones (“contact details”, “recipient”, “friend”). Currently, we can only offer LifeAfter.You for US citizens. We can not guarantee that your messages will be received. Our service method keeps track of your well-being, from your digital interactions with LifeAfter.You. You must read, comprehend and agree to this document before using LifeAfter.You.

When you use our app or website you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this entire policy. Our security method uses 256 bit Advanced Encryption Standard and Transport Layer Security (HTTPS), to meet industry standards for collecting and protecting all of your personal information. We collect your personal information automatically and voluntarily.

Automatic collection of your personal information occurs when you download and use (“interact”, “open”, or “close”) LifeAfter.You. Our app automatically reads and writes your information whenever you open our push notifications, email messages or if the app crashes. This is one of our essential methods to improve your digital experience and operate our service.

Voluntary collection of your personal information occurs when you select or enter any information in LifeAfter.You.

What personal information do we collect?

This list includes personally identifiable information that you give full consent for us to collect, search and interpret with our employees or the Social Security Administration. How do we use your information?

Full Name and Social Security Number ("SSN") usage:

Your Full Name and SSN is the only information we will provide the Social Security Administration in the case we find sufficient evidence that you have passed away. Email Address usage:

We use your email address to contact you for essential company updates, product and/or performance reviews, surveys or help resolve any relevant problems with our product or service. This includes sending you any updates about this privacy policy. We automatically generate a one-time email verification link, anytime you tap, Reset PIN; located on the login screen. If you do not receive a one-time email verification link within 20 mins first, look for any iOS system or LifeAfter.You updates. Second, close and reopen LifeAfter.You before contacting our support center at aboutlifeafteryou@gmail.com.

PIN Code usage:

Your PIN code allows you to access your account. We cannot see or use your PIN code. In the case that you forget your PIN code, tap, Reset PIN, on your login screen and follow the directions.

Event usage:

Your selected event(s) will not be sent to your recipient. We use your selected event to identify the frequently from all of our consumers to help improve our user experience. Please note that our event options are primarily designed to spark an idea for you to write about.

Date usage:

We use your selected date (“month” and “day”) to identify when to send your messages to your desired recipient. Please note, upon consent of your loved one, they have the choice to receive all of your messages at once or choose the option to receive your messages on the date that you set up. These delivery options are courtesy to the respect of our collected expert advice.

Message usage:

We send your messages to the contact information that you provide us. We may read your messages to collect additional information to verify your death, after we prove 365 days of inactivity with LifeAfter.You. Contact Details usage:

We use your contact details to help verify your death and deliver your messages too. Your contact details that you provide us will be used to help verify your death to eventually send your support messages to your specific recipient. Additional Information:

Your personal information that you provide us is our method to identify when to reach out and/or send your messages to your selected recipient(s). Please make sure you provide us with accurate information for the best chance that your support messages will be received to your desired recipient after you die.

When you use LifeAfter.You, third parties may collect, store and/or process the information detailed in this privacy policy. The third parties and their related entities who may access your information, provide your information with equal protection written in this privacy policy and required by applicable privacy laws and the platform providers’ rules, policies, disclosures and guidelines. Retention and Deletion of your information.

We store your information forever; unless you remove your account. When you remove your account you revoke your consent to this privacy policy and delete all of your personal information from our records. Both, our website and app, does not track your information nor requires any cookie interruptions. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

Privacy Policy Acknowledgment

The moment you enter any information during our sign up or sign in process you agree that you have acknowledged and fully understand this privacy policy. At any point you do not agree to this privacy policy, and you have a registered account, immediately follow the directions listed above to manually remove your personal information. If you simply do not agree to this privacy policy and you do not have a registered account, immediately close and/or uninstall LifeAfter.You from your iOS device.
